Each kit includes everything you need to build your robot. It includes the following contents: robot chassis, weapon system, servo, drive motors, drive speed controllers, power switch, rechargeable battery, radio controller, receiver, ties + wheel hubs, pliers, screwdriver, zip ties, 3D print files, power blocks, hardware, driving cones, safety glasses, Build Book, video lessons. One robot per kit.

We recommend these kits for ages 8+ due to their small, fast moving parts. We’ve had kids as young as 5 build them in our camps with an adult’s aid and supervision. They are also fun and challenging for adults who want to build and battle their first robot!

These robots are safe to battle at home or school without an arena. Care should always be taken with small children and pets, since the robots and weapons move quickly. Our Battle Arena option makes it easier to enjoy more formal battles like you see on TV.

Did you know you can use reuse this same kit to build any of the TEN robots? Use the provided files to 3D print a different robot chassis and weapon! If you don’t have access to a 3D printer, the parts are also available for purchase on our store.

You can use the provided 3D model files to start learning Computer Aided Design (CAD) to modify and 3D print your own custom parts! Ready to design and build your own robot from scratch? All of the components are highly competitive and can be reused in your next build!

Choose whichever robot you like best! The hammer robots are the easiest to operate and most fun to use without an arena. The lifters are more difficult to operate, but more effective during battles since thy can lift, flip, and control other robots. The flippers work best in an arena where they can use the walls to their advantage, and these are probably the most competitive if you plan to compete in local tournaments.

If it sounds like the sound is coming from the servo, it means that the servo horn is not installed in the correct position and it is forcing itself into the chassis. Just remove the servo horn and make sure to reinstall it using the servo jig in the kit. Make sure that the remote is on with the sticks all the way down first (make sure that the servo is in the right position). You can reference Episode 15 of the included video series. If it sounds like the sound is coming from the drive motors, you’ll need to adjust your trim on the transmitter.

Check to make sure that there are not loose connections, including on the drive motor, power block, and receiver. Also check that the drive speed controller is connected to the receiver in the correct orientation (if its plugged in backward, it won’t work).
